The department of General Surgery oversee all conditions and cases related but not limited to gall stones, which are treated with laparoscopic cholecystectomies, inguinal and incisional hernias, which are repaired with Lichtenstein hernioplasties or laparoscopically, gastro-intestinal surgery, thyroid parotid, and breast operations.
The Anorectal diseases are treated ‘tailor-made’ to the medical indications and have a high success rate due to the availability of different modalities. As a result, the department has a unique reputation in the community.
