ESWL

MDH provides Extracorporeal Shock Wave Lithotripsy (ESWL) service as modality treatment for renal stones. ESWL is a sound waves which creates a strong vibrations (shock waves) that break the stones into tiny pieces that can be passed in your urine. The procedure is anaesthesia free and lasts about 45 to 60.​

RIRS

Retrograde Intrarenal Surgery (RIRS) is a modality of management for renal stones. We use Flexible ureteroscopy and laser for fragmentation of renal stones. The patient receives spinal or general anesthesia and stays 1 day in the hospital after the operation. It is used for renal stones that are not suitable for ESWL.​

Urethroplasty

Urethroplasty is a reconstructive surgery for repair of urethral stricture. It is done under spinal or general anesthesia. Many techniques are used in this type of operations but the simplest one is resection-anastomosis Urethroplasty.​
